What is the difference between a drill and an impact drill?

The key difference  between a drill and an impact drill driver comes down to power and rotational action. Impact drivers,as opposed to drills,has a quick release shanks that are compatible with all 1/4 inch hex driver bits. Impact drivers make a lot of rotational power force which may quickly drive the largest wood screws in a second.
